Living with challenging transitions can leave us feeling stuck, not understanding what happened, and unsure how to move forward. In these moments having someone to talk with who understands these difficulties from personal experience makes a difference.

As a counselor who is totally blind, I bring a unique perspective to our therapeutic relationship.

Using a personalized blend of Narrative, Cognitive Behavioral, and Strength-Based Therapies, Mindfulness, Solution Focus, and Parts Work, I focus on the individual and reconnecting with the essential self that we all possess.

I am a licensed counselor who, through a social justice lens, will listen to all your frustrations with loved ones, friends, co-workers, and our misinformed society.

I can relate and will listen without judgment. Gently encouraging healing and, in your own time, resiliency via empowerment. I am here, and we can do this together!

The journey of integrating disability into my life has taught, and still teaches me resiliency and determination. And drives me to be a better person. This journey continues… I am doing it, many people are doing it, and you can too!

What brings a person to counseling is different for everyone. And I welcome the opportunity to work with you regardless of what brought you here. Some of the most common issues I work with are:

  • Physical Limitations

  • Learning/Processing Limitations

  • Sensory Disabilities

  • Mental Health

  • Autism spectrum/neurodiversity

  • Mika aggressions

I offer counseling sessions online through Telehealth and over the phone.

And we can collaborate on any accessibility needs you may have.

I believe finding the right fit is the most important part of counseling. If I do not have the expertise, I may be able to provide several referrals.
